7N 8D Kashmir Tour Itinerary, Jammu to Jammu,  Srinagar, Pahalgam and Katra

Day 1st : Pick up from Jammu Stn. and start our journey towards Katra. Distance from Jammu station to Katra is 48Kms approx. Travel time from Jammu to Katra by road is near about 1.11 hours. After few hours of driving we will explore the Beauty of Kashmir. And after reach to Katra Hotel and take a rest. At the evening we start our journey to Vaishnodevi. 

Day 2nd : Katra : After visit of Vaishnodevi Mandir , Return to the Hotel in Katra and rest for the whole day and Overnight stay at Katra Hotel . 

Day 3rd : Katra to Srinagar (240 approx) : After breckfast we preoceds to Srinagar .Distance from Katra to Srinagar is 266Kms approx. Travel time from Katra to Srinagar by road is near about 5.11 hours. After few hours of driving we will explore the Beauty of Kashmir. On our way we visit Pantitop. And after reach to Srinagar , Overnight stay at Srinagar Hotel . 

Day 4th : Srinagar to Gulmarg (60 kms approx 3 hour drive) : After breakfast in the morning, proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg, primarily famous for ski slopes and natural 18 holes golf course, which is also the highest golf course in the world. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. Later, begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway). Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and later indulge in some horse-riding. Drive back to Srinagar in the evening and transfer to the Srinagar hotel for night stay. 

Day 5th : Srinagar to Sonamarg to Srinagar (90 kms approx 3 hour drive) : After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg. Cross the town of Kangan, Mammar, Gagangir. Once you reach Sonamarg, take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajwass glacier. You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment). Return to the Hotel in Srinagar in the evening and enjoy comfortable night Stay. 

Day 6th : Srinagar to Houseboat : Morning after Breakfast Check out from Srinagar . We drive to visit the famous Mughal gardens in Srinagar which are Nishat Bagh (the garden of Pleasure), Shankarcharya Temple, Hazratbal Shrine and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love). These gardens are situated on the banks of Dal lake. Check into House boat. Do some Shikara ride in the Famous Dal Lake and in the evening do some shopping in handicraft Market. Dinner and overnight stay at house boat. 

Day 7th : In Pahalgam for Local Sightseeing : Morning after Breakfast Check out from Srinagar Hotel and drive to Pahelgam Hotel . After lunce from Pahelgam Hotel we drive for Local Sightseeing like - Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari,Boisaran Valley- Mini Swizerland. ARU VALLEY-Located around 11 km from Pahalgam, Aru Valley is the base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and the Tarsar-Marsar Lake. Aru lies beside the Aru river and is known for its scenic meadows and activities like horse riding,hiking and trekking. BETAAB VALLEY- Betaab Valley is a breathtaking combination of picturesque surroundings encircled by tall deodar trees and pine forests, with the Lidder River flowing ` right through it. It got its name from the Bollywood movie Betaab starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh shot here. CHANDANWARI- Chandanwari, located 15 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the famous Amarnath Yatra. It is also famous for the snow sledging on a snow bridge. It is also famous to enjoy a picnic and enjoy the natural beauty. BAISARAN VALLEY- Mini Swizerland : Baisaran is a beautiful destination 6 kms away from Pahalgam in Jammu & Kashmir. Withtranquil meadows, pristine lakes and picturesque setting, you can just stroll down the area or sit down to have a picnic. The place also has very many options of fun games and rides, pony rides, zorbing etc.(at your own cost) place is a popular tourist attraction in the area and you should definitely stop by if you are visiting here. Dinner and overnight stay at Pahelgam . 

Day 8th : After breakfast check out from Pahelgam hotel & driving towards Jammu, the distance   of 261 Kms and well linked with most of the Indian cities. Now we reach at  Jammu Stn. to take our return train.
